Ben has been involved with Paul Maurer from a very young age. Laying a brick patio earned Ben enough money to buy his first tee-ball bat, which he still has to this day. Ben studied Philosophy and English in college and finally transitioned to a Business degree for its applicable purposes. After college, Ben worked in the field at PMGC on framing crews, trim crews and flooring crews. After years in the field, he has transitioned into the managerial role which he holds today.
Ben Zeits has been a part of the PMGC team since 2004 when he was hired on to work in our Home Services Division. Since then he has honed his lifelong carpentry skills which have been passed down through his family. He has worked his way up the ladder from lead carpenter, to foreman, and now works in the office as a project supervisor. Ben takes pride in working with clients from the very beginning stages to help make their vision a reality. He is timely and efficient, making sure all of his projects run smoothly while keeping his clients abreast of any changes to the project and schedule. Ben believes building a new home should be a rewarding and gratifying experience for everyone involved, especially the homeowners. Ben is big on family; whenever he is not working, he is with his wife and three boys. They love being outside and enjoy all the local activities such as ice fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling, horseback riding, and so much more.
Dave found his passion for construction in high school when he started working with a building trades program. He has been involved in the industry ever since and also became a Licensed Michigan Builder in 1996. Dave joined Paul Maurer a few years after he became licensed and has been with PMGC ever since, working both in the field and in the office. He loves overseeing each project from the design phase to final occupancy and enjoys working closely with homeowners to coordinate job schedules to help ensure that the entire process runs smoothly and timely.
Pete is a Leelanau County native, born and raised. He has worked for PMGC three times since the late 90's and starting out with PMGC is where Pete found is true passion for carpentry. He started as a laborer and worked his way up the carpentry ladder to where he is now, a Job Supervisor. Pete has worked for small businesses as well as carpentry unions so he knows the intricate ins and outs of construction management. Pete brings his field knowledge to the table when he works with his clients to help them understand the process of building not just a house but their future home that could last generations. He has a loving wife, two wonderful children, one English Bulldog, two cats (but he prefers their dog), and he drives a lime green tiny smart car! Outside of the office you will find Pete on the water at all times of the year as he loves ice fishing, hunting, camping, and 4-wheeling.
